Do Lawn Edging in a Simpler Way

Defining the edges of your lawn is key to achieving a neat and polished garden design. One effective technique involves using a sturdy wooden board, such as a 2×6. Position the board where you want the edge to be and press it down with your foot for stability. Then, using a spade, cut along the edge of the board in a consistent direction. Gradually reposition the board as needed to maintain a clean, straight boundary.
The Micro Greenhouse

If starting seeds or cuttings feels tricky, consider using the micro greenhouse technique. Repurpose 2-liter soda bottles by cutting off the bottom and removing the labels. Each cut bottle acts as a mini greenhouse for an individual seed or cutting. Once the seedlings have sprouted and the cuttings have established strong roots, simply take them out and transplant them as needed.
