Turn on the TV and you can probably find 20 different shows produced in hundreds of different studios with thousands of different people in the background. Back in the grooviest decades between 1920 and 1960, things were much different. TVs and movies became new platforms where comedy, mystery, romance, and other ideas could take shape and be witnessed by people across the country. 1. Patty Duke starring in The Patty Duke Show (1963-1966)
Patty Duke (pictured) played two roles on the TV show named after her. She played Patty and Cathy Lane in 105 episodes during its 3-year span. The show centered around two identical cousins (odd, right?) and how they would get into a whole lot of teenage mischief.
