Photography is an underrated art form and that’s strange considering how they can also serve as important sources for information. Remember the picture “Migrant Mother”, which depicted a poor farmworker and her children while they were in a pea-pickers’ camp? How about something more iconic, like the photo of Marilyn Monroe standing over a subway grate in New York?
