1955 — First Computer With RAM

1955 — First Computer With RAM —  On March 8, 1955, MIT introduced the Whirlwind Machine, the first computer that was digital with magnetic core RAM.

1963 — First Computer Mouse — In 1963, Douglas Engelbart invented and patented the first computer mouse which was named because the tail came out at the end. 

1964 — First Desktop Computer — In 1964, the first desktop computer called The Programma 101 was invented by Pier Giorgio Perotto.  

1967 — First Floppy Disk — In 1967, IBM created the first floppy disk for the computer. Although we no longer use these today, it was a great way to back up and save work done on the computer.
