3. Paul Newman and Robert Redford Ping-Ponging on the Set of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969)
On set, Newman and Redford were as professional as can be, but when the cameras stopped rolling, the ping pong tables were unfolded and balls went flying. The movie Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid was based loosely on the true story of two olden day Western outlaws. Even though the movie received pretty poor reviews, it earned more than $100 million on a moderate $6 million budget. Not too shabby, especially for the ‘60s.
